Pretending to be invincible. Hiding my insecurities beneath a mask of carelessness. Never acknowledging the root of the feelings that have brought me to this place. Leaving my problems unchecked, never bringing them before my Father. Refusing vulnerability. Refusing intimacy. Refusing transparency.

Continuously choosing self-destruction.
