I'm tired of the manifestations of the wicked. Of they systems... When the sons & daughters gone rise up? I be wondering if justice will ever come Then I remember that earth ain't even my home But that don't mean I won't stop fighting until my work is done I will carry my people to freedom, until His Kingdom comes. One day I will marry a Black man And have little brown babies And I will raise them To love God and Black people And brown people. And all people. But for sure the oppressed people. Cuz them is our people And we will be carriers of freedom. We waking up The sons & daughters... Boldly declaring Enough is enough This land where our people were slaughtered. Ain’t no freedom, til all have tasted And been given a seat at the table To feast on the bounty of freedom...
